Lincolnshire Wolds

Lincolnshire Wolds

The Lincolnshire Wolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and we are fortunate to live within the area. The Wolds are the highest point in eastern England between Kent and Yorkshire dispelling the myth that Lincolnshire is flat. The fertile chalk hills have been shaped and cared for by the agricultural community. Just a few miles inland from the coast the area is a haven for people looking to enjoy the English countryside at its best.

You can roam amongst hidden valleys, sleepy stone villages and leisurely walks on quiet pathways. Walkers and dogs are welcome in the local market towns. We are located within easy reach of Lincoln, Louth, Horncastle, Caistor, Market Rasen and the very pretty Woodhall Spa.

For local events we can make some suggestions, or you could have a look on the Lincolnshire Wolds website
