Stretch your legs

With great footpaths and bridleways, the Wolds is a fantastic place to stretch your legs and enjoy unspoilt countryside and some fresh air.  Whether you enjoy longer walks or simply want to stroll, there are walks available for everyone.

We have the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival every year for two weeks hosting 100 of the best walks in the county. For those who cannot wait to explore we can make some suggestions, or you could have a look on the Lincolnshire Wolds website

The Viking Way
This is a 147 mile long footpath which starts on the banks of the Humber in the north and winds through some of the best walking in Lincolnshire, finishing at Rutland Water.  The route is available to download in sections.

For a gentle stroll and walks close to the house we can print off a local map to loop around the village. We have a laminated OS map to use whilst you are here.
